Hope you enjoy!

More than the execution or the technique, I look to see if the archetypal symbolism of such an image works. It does very well, expertly weaving images of the classic four elements, yin/yang, light/darkness, sun/moon, male/female, etc. What makes it really stand out is the sheer amount of comic whimsy and lyrical assymetry going on here. Abstractly, the sun, forest, and sky creates a bean seed like image of fecundity in the loamy, rich umber of the main background color. I resist saying but this is indeed like Dr. Seuss for mature audiences. There are hints of exotic sexuality but they are kept very subtle. It makes me wonder what the androgynous horned god-like nature spirit on the left is discussing with the phlegmatic and bemused mother spirit on the Seussian toadstool. THe colors are bright but not loud and are a perfect example of what mid-tone and dark, subdued colors can do. The brightest being the mustard yellow of the glyph-tentacled sun doesn't overpower and lends the sole contrast from which the harmony of the whole piece radiates. This is fun and deep, like a They Might Be Giants song! Bravo!

Öh, die Sonne ist ja der Hammer. :D

I like everything here. It's a very own style, especially the background. And even though anything looks so twisted and curled I know what anything is. That's great art.
Also, the expressions of the characters show much personality and life.

I like when a picture tries to reveal a narrative visually, rather than just relying the use of comic-book dialogue.

You see the interaction of two characters, in a fantasy forestry setting, and the viewer is drawn into the scene by the use of blocks of subtle colour of the red characters with yellow eyes. The expressions give you an idea of what might be happening, but you haven't made it straightforward, as you leave it to the imagination of the viewers. So whether the female is shocked by the other character, or if the male is informing the female of something is left down to the audience.

You have execute your excellent craftsmanship into this kind of fantasy illustration, and from what I can see I am left wanting to view future works on this sublime standard very soon. Keep it up.
