-- Crazy People suffer Madness... Artists Enjoy it! CLICK HERE FOR COMMISSIONS!!! I like what I'm seeing here - you have a strong silhouette with interesting shapes, a funny idea, with good execution, and good use of complementary colors.
You've also got a good composition - the ripped edge makes an interesting texture, and a great way to pull the eye from the top of the page to the bottom, and the monster makes a good focal point. I've never heard of Jazam comics - where can I find this? -- "Madame, that is the ugliest nose I have ever seen, and I complement you on it; it suits you." |

I love it!
The idea is funny, it fits the function (as it is going to be printed on paper as far as I can understand), the character is nice and funny, and of course everlything is well drawn!
The complimentary colors of course work great together, and your cartoony style can only be loved by everyone. Good linework, as well as on design as on thickness of lines and usage of black.
However I do have some problems, and the biggest one is the nose. Yes, of course it is supposed to be ugly but as it should be a nice drawing it should be appealing too
I love the idea of the chewing on the paper, but it took just a bit to long for me to notice it was paper the first time. The part in his mouth looks like cloth actually.
The shading on his right (our left) cheek looks misplaced, maybe even a highlight would have made him more cute. Also I think there should be some shading at the bottom of the creature to make him more roundish, and so cutish and touchable. (when I made a typo the corrector said 'unfetchable >.<'
Oh well, I am loving the eyebrow, and the little hat and horns give him character! With just a little amount of lines, you made the full thing look like a hairball, and I envy you for your talent and skill
