My bad. And to be honest. I like your art work. And your sonic parodied drawings are funny. It's Just A long time ago I remember you saying something about Sega not making good games anymore. And I got slight upset and made a big reply on all the good things sega has done. And I guess it went from there to all the comments I've made now on your sonic art. And if you truly have been greatly annoyed by my comments, I'm sorry. It's just I sometimes tend to defend things I like.
Yeah and it just a little 'trolling' against Sega fans. No serious buisness. My whole Series is made for this. Satire. And some Sonictards become angry and spam hate comments or long comments why it is good or not and it just silly and I have my fun.
Sega has made some good games, but the Sonic franchise is dead, even when you argue that they still make some other good games.
I look forward to the Sonic collection for DS. With Sonic 1,2,3 and Sonic and Knuckles. Even when they screw around with the sounds. I just hope they don't change the models and add the stupid new characters.
Ah yes the Flicky, I used to own Sonic 3D for the Mega Drive. While it may of been a pain to collect them in it at least I have fond memories of it. Now they've been replaced with some blue things. Flickys for the win.
As for the other two, I noticed them while looking around for info on the comics, but regardless I couldn't care less about them.
I could forgive Bean and Flicky since they're homages to earlier games in Sega's history (and even then they're not nearly as illogical or as pointless as having, say, R.O.B. in Mario Kart DS), but I agree that Bark is just totally useless for anything other than filling up a roster.
One thing about Bean: Bean the Dynamite? What the hell is a Dynamite? Why couldn't they call him Bean the Duck?
Wait, is the Sonic the Fighters Bean the same character as the Dynamite Dux Bean? I thought he was a doppleganger designed in tribute (a la Lololo and Lalala in Kirby being patterned after Lolo and Lala)
I'd start with Bowser's 8 kids really. Variety is nice, but considering they all basically behave the same way and have zero personality, they should've all just been one character to begin with. I know EVERYONE hates Jr, but at least he's only one character with a horrible personality instead of a bunch of unnecessary ones. Then there's the babies...and all the partners in the Paper Mario games(that's probably excusable because those are spin-offs and they were forgotten immediately afterwards, I guess)...and Toadette...and Waluigi...
The real point isn't exactly proof or character development; it's about...well, what exactly the point was. Toadette could've been Shy Guy, Boo, Poochy, Toadsworth, Prof. Gadd...She was a character they just made to be Toad's partner in Double Dash, and they didn't really NEED to make a completely new character for that. I blame Luigi(and maybe his overly defensive fans to a degree) for Waluigi and Baby Daisy, though. He sure needed a rival and infantile version of his(not really) love interest SOOOO badly, right? He's just as important to the series as Mario is! OF COURSE HE DOES. ...To be fair, whenever Nintendo actually makes a new character or enemy, they tend to disappear for a few years/games, and they actually did differentiate the boss fights more in Super Mario World.
Luigi is sort of grandfathered in really. He has a lot of things Mario himself doesn't...like a bigger fanbase and a defined personality. It's pretty nice they still keep him around, even if it is just to make fun of him for never doing anything anymore.
Heh, I'm just goofing off really. Not trying to start a sacred cow barbeque or anything like that. ^^ Since those other seven rascals seem to be back in the New SMB for Wii, maybe there's hope for them. Thus far, I've only seen Larry(who is a glorified Boom-Boom with projectiles, just like in SMB3, and masked Jr. was in New SMB) and Morton, but it's a safe assumption the rest are on their way. Toadette has at least appeared in the opening cutscene for Galaxy. As of now, Waluigi is just an older variation of what Baby Daisy is that everyone likes for whatever reason. They really should replace those two Toads in the aformentioned Wii game with the Koopalings...
